The official launching of AMD Radeon VII is scheduled for February 7th, however the first benchmarks results have leaked in advance and as it looks like it can outperform the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080.

The AMD Radeon VII 3DMark results were posted in Twitter by both Tum_apisak and Komachi.

According to the 3DMark benchmarks in Fire Strike The AMD Radeon VII scores 19,210 points, in Fire Strike Extreme – 12,224 and in Fire Strike Ultra benchmark – 6,707. All these results are listed in 3DMark’s database.

In Time Spy benchmark, it scores around 8,700 points. Seemingly The AMD Radeon VII can beat the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080, although in the Final Fantasy 15 benchmark the AMD Radeon VII’s results are not as good as GTX 1080 Ti and barely beats the RTX 2070 at 2560×1440.

Of course, these results cannot be considered as confirmed benchmark results as they are the first leaked ones.

The Radeon VII will be the first graphics card built on on AMD’s 7nm architecture which actually allow GPU to increase performance by 25% in total. The Radeon VII also features 3,840 GCN cores and a maximum boost clock of 1,800MHz and it is expected to launch at a starting price of $699.
